Island Vis

The coast of Vis has many hidden coves and beaches. Don’t miss the sandy beach Stončica in a shallow cove, Stiniva bay, secluded and beautiful bay, and many other places. Near the island of Vis is small island of Biševo known for Blue Cave (Modra Spilja). It’s big enough for small boats to enter, and swimming in this magnificent place is possible even in summer months. Beautiful blue color inside the cave comes as the sunlight enters the cave through a submerged side entrance and reflects of the seabed. This amazing natural phenomenon is really a must-see.
